Self Storage

Self Storage offers flexibility and independence. You can access your private unit anytime, ideal for frequent use or when you prefer managing your items yourself. It’s more cost-effective than Shelf Space (Valet Storage) per item.

Shelf Space (Valet Storage)

Shelf Space (Valet Storage) adds convenience. Items are picked up (or the option to drop-off yourself, for free), stored securely, and delivered back when needed, perfect for busy individuals or those with limited transportation. It saves time and effort but may cost more per item and limit spontaneous access. Shelf Space is ideal for those who will be moving in all their items on a set date, and then moving all items out again on a future date, and if you have a limited number of items and no oversize item.

Self Storage – How It Works

You have access to your own private storage unit. You have your own padlock and key that our team cannot open. You have control to deposit and remove items from your unit as you please.

How Our Self Storage Works

1. Booking Process

  • Select Storage Unit Size:
    • Visit the booking page, choose your unit size with visual guides, or contact us for help.
    • Select your start date; we’ll finalise your move-in time after booking.
  • Packaging Options:
    • None: Use your own materials.
    • Some Available Options (book in advance, or buy on arrival): Plastic storage boxes (buy/rent), cardboard boxes (buy only), packing tape, labels and more! Select items during online booking, or at our reception.
    • Opt for “Deliver Packing Materials” to arrange delivery (fees apply) or collect from reception (free).
  • Optional Transit Services:
    • Pickup options detailed in the “Valet” section below.
    • Note: Delivery covers drop off to our reception only; loading assistance into your unit may incur extra fees. Trolleys are available at reception, most customers come with the delivery driver to check-in and load their own unit.

2. Payment and Documentation

  • Booking and Initial Payment:
    • Sign the e-contract, submit your booking and receive your invoice by email.
    • Prompt payment secures your booking (See payment options). Inform us if intending to pay in person at reception, to discuss options for reserving your unit until payment is made (depends on current demand).
    • Complete the next-steps form (sent by email): Submit ID/passport etc.
    • Log into the online portal (account created upon online booking) to manage your unit and payments.

3. Move-In Day

  • Arrival:
    • Check-in at reception (yourself or an authorized person).
    • Purchase additional padlocks or packaging materials if needed.
    • We’ll confirm your secure storage access and guide you to your unit.
    • Future visits require no check-in; we’ll provide you a key code after move-in is finalized.

4. During Your Rental

  • Access:
    • Full access during open hours; inquire info@storesafe.ge about 24/7 access if needed.
    • For team-assisted access, written permission and your padlock code or key are required (fees may apply).
  • Extensions, Unit Changes, Additional Rentals:
    • Rentals auto-renew monthly unless cancelled. Missing payments may incur late fees.
    • Notify us in advance for extensions or to switch units (different sizes) to ensure availability and smooth transition.
    • Book additional units via your online account when logged in.

5. Move-Out

  1. Notice and Fees:
    1. Provide 7 days’ notice to avoid continued charges.
    2. Settle outstanding fees 48+ hours before move-out to prevent move-out delays.
  2. Unit Condition:
    1. Units must be vacated clean and undamaged. Optional cleaning services available for a fee.
    2. A team member will inspect the unit during move-out to address any issues.
  3. Out-of-Hours Move-Out:
    1. If our team member is not present, take photos of the unit and email them to customer service. We’ll assess it later. If there are issues we’ll discuss them.
  4. Balance/Deposit Refunds:
    1. Once the move-out process is confirmed, remaining deposits will be processed within 7 business days.

Rent Shelf Space (Valet Storage)

Your packed items (packed securely in moving boxes / suitcases etc.), are dropped off by you or picked up by us (optional) and moved-in and stored securely in our private warehouse area – staff access only, CCTV monitored 24/7.

  • Those with short term storage needs, wanting a quick and easy pickup and delivery of their items.

How Does Shelf Space Work, and what are the Options:

1. Booking Process

Select Your Storage Space

  • Fill out our Shelf Space booking/quote form here.
    • Select all the items you need to store. If you have some (or many!) oversize/loose items, it is often better to book a Self Storage unit, and we can combine that with a pickup/moving service.
    • Select your start date and other details.
  • Our team will contact you to confirm the final quote price.
  • Confirm the booking and our team will finalize the pickup time and other details.

 Select Packaging Items

  • None: Use your own boxes (must meet quality standards; broken boxes may incur repacking fees if not supplied by us).
  • Purchase/Rent Options:
    • Plastic boxes (buy or rent)
    • Cardboard boxes (buy only)
    • Other materials (sticky tape, labels, etc.).
    • Select to purchase during the online booking process.
  • Delivery of Packaging:
    • Select “Deliver Packing Materials” at booking, and our team will confirm delivery details and fees.
    • Alternatively, arrange a taxi (e.g., Bolt) to collect items from our reception to deliver to you.

Select Delivery/Drop-Off Service

(All pickups are subject to availability; book at least 24 hours in advance, but recommended to book at least 7 days in advance to get the time slot you want.)

  • Fees: Based on size, items, loading assistance (if not moving items yourself), stairs, timing, number of movers, and other factors. Final quote provided once we have detailed info of your items.
  • Options (we can advise on vehicle size once we know your consignment size):
    • Self Drop-Off (Free): Bring items to reception. Trolleys available from parking.
    • Taxi/Independent Drop-Off (pay to them): Book a delivery and provide their contact for coordination. Unloading fees may apply if the driver refuses to unload to our reception.
    • Small Vehicle Pick-Up (From 65 GEL): Sedan. Our driver collects and unloads items. Additional fees for entering buildings to move your items.
    • Small Moving Van (From 175 GEL): Transit/Sprinter van for larger loads.
    • Large Moving Van: Contact us for pricing.

2. Payment & Documentation

  • E-sign the contract and submit the booking request based on the above selections.
  • We’ll confirm availability and invoice for the deposit, first month’s payment, and service/purchase fees.
  • Payments must be made promptly, or your booking may be cancelled.
  • Submit your ID/passport via the form (provided after initial booking is submitted).
  • Once payment and documents are verified, your booking and move-in/pickup time will be finally confirmed.

3. Move-In/Pickup Day

  • Label each box with your own detailed identifiers (2 labels per box recommended).
  • Depending on service:
    • Self Drop-Off: Deliver items to reception at the allotted time.
    • Taxi/Independent Driver: Coordinate delivery to reception at your booked time.
    • Pick-Up Service: Our team collects items from your address.
  • Items will be checked in, your consignment labelled by us, and logged. A summary of logged items will be sent to you (contents of boxes will not be listed), and confirmation of receipt.

4. During Rental Period

Access Items:

  • Advanced request recommended, during office hours only. Access is free if done in person; delivery/return by a driver incurs a fee.
  • Adding or Removing Items: Notify our team to discuss fee adjustments.

Extensions

  • Notify us at least 2 weeks in advance to extend your storage period. Last-minute requests may not be accommodated if space is unavailable, but we’ll try.

5. Move-Out

  • Follow the same process as “Delivery/Drop-Off Service” (in reverse).
  • Book your move-out service at least 1 week in advance to avoid continued fees.
  • Settle all outstanding fees 48 hours before move-out to avoid delays.
  • Deposits will be processed within 7 business days after move-out.
